Frequently asked questions

1. What is your image usage policy?

   You may use these images in any way you like: layouts, LJ icons/avatars, wallpapers, buttons, etc. Everything in the image galleries is free for the taking, provided you don't take the entire gallery and replicate it on your own site. Direct linking is not allowed. (It's also disabled.)

2. What is the image on the main page, and where'd you get it?

   It's the cover of a doujinshi, I found the scan on an eBay auction, and no, I don't have a larger version of the image. (Please stop asking..! ;_;)

3. I can't find the info pages/MIDI files/movies..?

   This site is a topical image gallery. The topic is Tsukino Usagi and Chiba Mamoru (and all their variations and personas.) That's all there is. There are many other excellent sites that offer information, multimedia and fanfic (just to name a few things), which is why I chose to focus specifically on being an image resource for this couple.

4. I can't find anything about the other senshi..!

   Please see the above. There are also many other websites with full character bios and image galleries to boot; this is not one of them. If you're not looking for Usagi & Mamoru images, you may be in the wrong place. ^^;

5. What's your stance on fanart and doujinshi images?

   At the moment, this gallery does not post fanart, other than the small selection of images from the BSSM Volume Infinity artbook, found in the Carousel section. I may add a doujinshi/fanart section if I find enough scans at high enough quality to merit it, as I don't own any at the moment to scan myself. ;_;

6. My site is new. Will you link to me?

   Generally the links section has sites I like a lot, sites I visit regularly as resources, and usually sites I have found by myself. Signing the guestbook with a "visit my site" message is a bit rude, and such messages are deleted, but if you would like to point me to something new, please send it via email.

7. Can I link to you?

   Certainly. Link banners are available for your downloading pleasure in the link here section.

8. Will you host my site?

   Currently no hosting is available.

9. Do you mind if I copy your layout/graphics/design on my site?

   YES, I MIND. Don't do it. All layout graphics, code and associated original intellectual property are protected under United States copyright law and may not be used without permission. I have layered, dated Photoshop files on hand to prove my creation/ownership. I will not hesitate to contact your host and/or ISP if I find you've stolen something. (I'm also quite fond of public shaming, and have done so, to great effect, in the past.)

10. I love your site design. Will you make me a layout, banner or button?

    Unfortunately I have no time for outside (free) requests, as I run several personal sites, and many other sites on a professional basis. For some very high-quality free layouts, banners and buttons, I suggest Lycentia's Sailor Moon Web Graphics.

11. How do you make a website?

    Start here. The W3Schools tutorials are extremely nice and should teach you anything you wish to know about HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, etc etc etc. Or you could always pick up a book. ^^;

12. What programs do you use to make Serenitatis?

    Serenitatis is written on a shiny new 15" PowerBook G4 running Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger), using Adobe Photoshop 7, BBEdit and Transmit.

13. Where do you host Serenitatis?

    I host with Media Temple. They rock my socks.

14. Will you send me/email me pictures of so-and-so?

    I spend a lot of time putting the pictures on this website, so you can download them at your leisure. As such, I do not offer an image... concierge service. ^^;;;

15. Will you email me when the site is updated?

16. Do you have any other sites?
