Happy 11th birthday, Serenitatis!
I started this website two URLs ago, eight (nine?) hosts ago, what seems like a lifetime ago, on September 19, 1997. I had lots of time and energy and passionate fandom to throw at this project; now I have none of those in adequate measure.
This site will stay online as long as any of my sites stay online — for the foreseeable future. Nothing’s changing in that respect. However, after I complete the eight galleries’ worth of updates I have remaining — barring some phenomenal new image I run across and cannot bear to withhold from you — Serenitatis.com will be a static gallery. I find I can no longer grind through 200 new images with the enthusiastic fervor I once possessed. In fact, the updates below (done over the past few evenings) have been… well, awful. I’m tired.
I really do love this site, and I hope you all get enjoyment out of it. It’s been a pleasure serving you for eleven years! Expect more updates in the near future, but then… not so much. I have updates slated for most of the Theater section, and I do intend to put the Choral: SSM & Usagi galleries online shortly. (Maybe next week, I need to recover from the rest of the updates I did. These last two are not small.)
